This Privacy Policy explains what information Roamavo collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have when using our website, checkout, account dashboard, support channels, and eSIM services.

We only want the information needed to provide travel eSIM services, process orders, protect against fraud, support customers, and improve the product.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information created when you use our services, and limited technical information from your browser or device.

  • Account information: email address, display name, login method, and password authentication details handled by our authentication provider.
  • Order information: destination, selected plan, price, currency, order status, payment status, and related transaction identifiers.
  • eSIM information: installation status, activation status, ICCID or provider identifiers, QR/activation details, validity period, data allowance, data usage, and support history.
  • Payment information: payment processor identifiers, payment status, billing details required by the payment provider, and fraud review signals. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Support information: messages, screenshots, device model, destination, and troubleshooting details you send to us.
  • Technical information: IP address, approximate location from IP, browser, device type, pages visited, referrer, and cookie or analytics identifiers where used.

2. How we use information

We use information to operate Roamavo, fulfill orders, provide customer support, protect the business, and improve the website.

  • Create and secure your account.
  • Process checkout and payment status.
  • Deliver eSIM installation details and manage your dashboard.
  • Provide support, troubleshooting, refunds, and service notices.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, chargebacks, account takeover, and network misuse.
  • Comply with tax, accounting, legal, card network, payment processor, and telecom obligations.
  • Improve design, performance, plan coverage, support content, and customer experience.

3. Legal bases where applicable

Where privacy laws require a legal basis, we process information because it is necessary to perform a contract with you, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate interests, prevent fraud, provide support, or because you gave consent.

4. Service providers and partners

We share information with trusted providers only as needed to run the service. These may include authentication providers, eSIM and telecom partners, payment processors, fraud prevention tools, hosting providers, analytics tools, email providers, and customer support systems.

These providers may process information in countries different from where you live. We use reasonable safeguards where required by law.

5. eSIM provider data

To provision and support an eSIM, we may share order, plan, destination, activation, and usage information with eSIM providers and network partners. They may return technical identifiers, activation details, usage status, and network information needed to deliver the plan.

6. Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies or similar technologies for essential site functions, checkout security, analytics, performance monitoring, language preferences, and marketing measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work without essential cookies.

7. Marketing communications

If you subscribe to emails or agree to marketing, we may send updates, travel tips, offers, or product news. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Service emails related to orders, security, account access, or policy changes may still be sent.

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including order delivery, customer support, fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance, and dispute handling.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, legal requirements, payment processor rules, telecom partner requirements, and whether there is an unresolved issue.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect customer information. No website, payment system, telecom network, or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

Roamavo is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will review it.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our product, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated version will show a new date at the top of this page.
